Recycling makes sense!
Recycling is a part of actively caring for our environment.
Recycling reduces waste going to the landfill and conserves energy by
reducing what we throw away and returning valuable materials for reuse.

- Residential. Curbside collection of recyclable materials is
offered and promoted in many of the municipalities we serve.
- Commercial. Cardboard boxes are flattened
and placed into a special recycling container. The cardboard is then
picked up and delivered to the recycling facility for further processing.
Providing an additional container exclusively for cardboard often is less
expensive, overall, because savings are realized in reduced trash pickup and
disposal fees when cardboard boxes are removed from the trash and recycled.
Blue Bag Recycling Program
Our recycling program is voluntary and it is simple to participate.
To participate, just follow the instructions as outlined. The special
blue recycling bags can be purchased at local grocery, discount and
other retail stores.

curbside. Please note that this may be a different day than your trash pickup
day.
Your recyclables are then taken to a processing center where they are sorted.
Use blue bags only for recyclables, NOT for trash.
