Residential trash collection is available for municipalities and individual residents alike throughout our collection area.
Residential Trash Carts
Residents are provided large 90-gallon trash carts. These carts are spacious, yet easy to handle.
Recycling
We offer curbside collection of recyclable materials in many municipalities. This helps to deal responsibly with the total waste stream. Read more about the Single Stream Recycling Program.
Extra Trash
One of the most popular benefits of our residential service is our Everything Goes service. This means no extra charge for extra trash* and includes most things like a junk piece of furniture or “spring cleanup” items.

Pick-up Options
Most residential trash is collected weekly at the curbside, but we also offer a variety of additional service options:
- Every other week, or once per month pickup for rural areas or residents who generate little waste
- Backyard pick-up for the handicapped, the elderly, or those with long driveways
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
We cannot permit loading of automobile batteries, any household hazardous wastes (chemicals, paint, cleaners, insecticides, herbicides, etc.) or hot, explosive, or corrosive materials, used motor oil, or any other liquids. Also, no appliance containing or previously containing refrigerant (freezer, refrigerator, dehumidifier, or air conditioning unit) may be disposed of in the landfill unless it has been properly discharged, and the documentation given to the driver.
